RICHARD TRIMM SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICATION INFORMATION
The Richard Trimm Cat 5 Scholarship is named after the late father of Alison Clancy, Father-in-law of founding Campus AD and Head Football Coach- James Clancy. Richard Trimm was an original member of the Klein Cain football Booster club and a staple at every Hurricane football game from 2017 until 2021.
Klein Cain Football Booster Club's mission is to promote an environment that inspires and supports student-athletes, coaches, parents, and the community of Klein Cain Football. This consists of both volunteer service and the financial support required to foster the development of our student-athletes and maintain a world-class football program.
KCHS Football Booster Club recognizes the value of athletics and promotes academic success through athletic development. To recognize Klein Cain Football students, the booster Club has set up the Klein Cain Football Booster club: Richard Trimm CAT 5 Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to the hurricane football player that best exemplifies the school’s Culture to Commitment while being a champion on the field and in the classroom as a member of the Football program.
Scholarships will be awarded based on the following factors*:
- Applicant’s Personal Statement and Essay
- Goals Statement
- Academic Achievements & GPA
- Extracurricular Activities
- Community Service
- 2 Letters of recommendation
